(Diesel) Help? Transforming a land engine into marine.?
I'm looking for a diesel engine around 150HP or 100hp-200hp that I intend to buy at a junk yard And rebuild my self. My problem is I'm having trouble finding a engine that matches two of my questions. I want there to be marine manifolds that all reedy existfor it. And I also need to be sure it can match up with a inboard drive. The manifolds, and Drive need to match a Engine and not a boat. Basically turning a land engine into Marine. It also must be mechanical fueled injected.
Hell of a wish list and that is why I'm asking.
Detroit Diesel makes marine versions of their engines, so the parts are probably adaptable to their land engines.
